Today when I went out to get my mail
I had a nice little surprise waiting for me. It was a package that looked like
a 2nd grade art class sent me (nice hand prints ;)). But inside of the package
I found a sample disc of a band called Of Infinity from San Antonio, Texas.
Even though none of the 3 band members are native of that city, or even state,
that is where this band is based out of - for some reason.
Of Infinity aren't just your ordinary band from San Antonio, Texas where all
the members are from different states and time zones. No. Of Infinity are a
band of members who were born in different states not named Texas who are a
Powerful Female-Fronted Melodic Metal band from San Antonio, Texas.
This disc has 3 songs - one for each member I guess or something - Maybe this
is their way to get me to buy the full album.
Out of the 3 songs the strongest one is... all of them. All 3 songs are done
incredibly well. I have tried to think of a fault with the songs but there isn't
one. The music is some of the best I have heard in a long time. It is very atmospheric
if that is even a word and if it isn't then it should be. OK, I just checked
that it is indeed a word.
Fans of Nightwish and Lacuna Coil sho--no, they need to check out this band.
If you are saying to yourself "Hmm, maybe I should go there." Then
you should be slapped for even thinking that. Of Infinity have amazing female
vocals that draw you into their songs and a guitarist whose playing will keep
you in the song.
